Key Areas of Accountability

• Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the Primary School Curriculum.
• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate science lessons that promote inquiry, experimentation, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Use appropriate teaching aids, practical activities, and learning materials to support effective learning.
• Conduct continuous assessments and maintain accurate records of learner progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Supervise learners during co-curricular activities and school events as required.
• Uphold child protection and safeguarding standards at all times.
• Perform any other duties assigned within his/her capacity. 

Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Diploma in Education with specialization in Science. (A Bachelor’s Degree is added advantage) 
• Valid Teaching Certification from the Ministry of Education and Sports.
• Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in a reputable school.
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to conduct continuous assessments and track learner progress.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
