The Prize Awards event recognizes students who have excelled in different activities in and out of the classroom. The most prestigious of these awards are the "Student of the Year", "Academician of the Year" and the "Ubuntu Award."

The students who emerge as winners in the above categories are awarded the shield in recognition of their efforts throughout the entire year.
